A full rainbow over Reykjavik this morning.

I’ve taken to using a small wide-angle lens (made for a camcorder) which i tilt in front of my cellphone camera to distort in the fish-eye tradition. No comments yet from people passing me on the street. Only stares.

Absolutely brilliant.

THE TWO-HEADED BOY MUSIC LISTS for 2009

Over the next two months, I have the honor of presenting a collaborative effort to round up all things music that occurred in 2009. My good friend Truitt will be co-hosting a couple of regular entries here (as he toils to complete his second novel for NaNoWriMo), which will include 20 tracks selected for The TBI/THB 2009 Mixtape, as well as The TBI/THB Top 40 Albums of 2009.

Anyway, I hope you all stick around and bring your own voice to the discussion. I’m truly excited to present all of this to you soon.

[Daniel] This song kills me… having graduated with my bachelor’s degree back last December, the struggles of faith, family, and “worldly intelligence” resound with too much that has occurred to me in the last year. Parts of my family fit the bill of the family described in the final verse of this song with harrowing accuracy, and the keyboard melody provides a perfect mirror to the spiritual struggle the song’s protagonist describes.
