Deer Leap - “Coffee and Keys”

Deer Leap is probably the best band that you aren’t listening to. They make beautiful, beautiful music. I think I’ve rec’d them on here before, but I’ve gotten a lot of new followers since then so I’m gonna do it again. Their music is an interesting blend of post-rock and midwest emo with high pitched vocals and AWESOME instrumentation. This is the 4th song off their split LP “Are Here To Help You” that they did with The World Is A Beautiful Place & I Am No Longer Afraid To Die (another awesome band.)

Sleep late because we were drinking all night and I think you might have lost your mind. Spoke loud, and you might have said things that you never really meant to say. Stay long, because you’re afraid to go home to things you can’t handle on your own. But I know you’d be best in your bed where the world just makes more sense.
